Essence Exit to Explore Blush

I’ve finally managed to find the Essence Exit to Explore collection which I did an overview post on if you want to go check that out (Essence September Trend Edition) . One of the main products that I had my eye one within the collection is the Ombre Blush, so when I saw it I had to grab it and boy am I glad I did.

With Essence being such an inexpensive brand packaging really isn’t their strongest suit however I am impressed that they managed to create such a fun and colourful design for the print on this collection. It’s really eye catching and fits in with the theme of the collection quite nicely.

The shade of the blush is called 01 My Heart is Beating Like a Jungle. You can see from the picture that the blush has it’s ombre effect in the colours peach and pink with the centre portion being a mixture of both. Me, personally I prefer the peachy side and the centre portion of the blush rather than the intense pink side.

Formulation wise the powder is very much finely milled and so it applies smoothly without any patchiness. I love the pigmentation of the blush also because it does not overload your blush with product and at the same time it gives just the right amount of product to give you that natural flush to the cheeks.

This retailed for 4.40 euros and I picked mine up from Primark/Pennys. To be fair it was the only place that I managed to find this collection stocked. Also this collection is very much Limited Edition soΒ  would grab what you like from it as soon as you find it.
