The other night I was feeling very bothered and genuinely upset but I just didn’t know the reason why and when this happens I genuinely like shutting myself in the bathroom and pampering myself until I start to feel good again. To be honest I think every girl should have at least 30 minutes a day just to herself, be it to apply her makeup or do her skincare or just to sit and stare out the window. It’s just a way to relax and chill so we can stay calm and in control of ourselves.
For this post I’m going to share with you guys the steps I took to get ready for my bath. Recently I have been into trying out the skincare range from Primark/Pennys (here in Ireland it’s called Pennys) and putting it to the test. The range is called PS Love Your Skin….Express Face Time. I have been using both the sheet masks and the under eye patches from this range and loving both. The sheet mask is very hydrating and moisturising and you can leave it on for a good solid 20 minutes.
The under eye patches, you get 2 applications in the one packet and to be honest I apply these the minute I get into the bathroom and remove them last thing before I leave. Their really cooling under the eyes and claim to reduce the appearance of dark circles.
Both the mask and the under eye patches a super duper inexpensive at just 1.50 per pack and like I said you get two applications in the eye patches. I like to get my bath ready after I’ve prepped my skin. I currently have two Lush bath products. One is the Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb and the other is the Karma Bubble Bar.
I decided to go with the Rose Bombshell one because I needed something that had a nice relaxing an calming scent and I tend to like rose scented products. Even for those of you who don’t this product doesn’t have that over powering rose scent, it’s really soft and light. Because this is a Bath Bomb it didn’t really create and bubbles so I added in some of my Almond Bath Crème with almond oil. (the pink bottle in the photo)
This is how the bath bomb looked when I initially popped it into my bath. I love all the soft pink shades that came out of it. As it fizzed down it started to create some soft lavender shades as well.
I noticed that once it completely dissolved it released some rose petals which I guess where in the centre of the Bath Bomb. I really enjoyed using this Bath Bomb and am going to repurchase as soon as I can get to a Lush Store.
That’s it guys, what else can I say, I got into the bath lolz! It really helped to calm me down and get me back to my centred self. I totally recommend that whenever your feeling down or out of sync with the world to just try and relax and calm yourself. For me it’s bathtime but for you it could be reading a book, or listening to some music or just sitting with family. Either way do what makes you happy, don’t stay bothered!
