Seventeen Skin Wow! Concealer

Touché Éclat is  something that I used on my wedding day and to be honest it was one of the best products on the day to give my skin that much needed bridal glow. For that reason anytime I see a product that resembles it in any way I just have to test it out. Seventeen, which is a Boots own in house brand, have recently released their version of the Touché Éclat. It’s called the WOW! concealer and it is said:

The ultimate pick me up! Use to brighten under your eyes or to highlight cheekbones, browbones and cupids bows. Give skin a WOW!

Basically the same directional use as the Touché Éclat. Also it comes in very similar product packaging, gold tube with a black button at the end to click in order for the product to come out of the tube. It has a built in brush applicator and the product itself comes in three different shades, mine being the lightest shade, fair.

I have to say there is a bit of a difference between the two with regards to the colour of the actual product. Touché Éclat has a very yellow based undertone to it, which basically makes it great for highlighting while the Seventeen one has a pink/peach undertone to it which makes it better for cancelling out the darkness in the face more than highlighting really. Basically I would use the Touché Éclat  for highlighting and the Seventeen for colour correcting any darkness on the complexion.

This product retails for 6.99 euros and is currently on offer in Boots for buy 1 get the second product half price. I only got the one product because I didn’t see anything else I liked.
