So a while back I reviewed my Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb (Day) moisturiser that I picked up from Boots. I also happened to pick up the new Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water. This is the oil-infused version and it is recommended for dry and sensitive skin, though to be honest I think even oil-skin people can use it as it’s really not that oily of a product. Personally I think adding an oil to a micellar defeats the purpose of it being like water. however I do actually like this product.
It comes in a nice big 400mls bottle and as you can see from the image above, it has a sort of dual phase system to it. By this I mean the oil is one layer and the water is another and it order to use the product you have to shake it very well in order to get both layers to mix together. It has a really nice Johnson baby oil scent to it that’s light and fresh. When mixed it goes a sort of golden milky colour.
Application wise you just mix it up and apply it to a cotton pad and remove whatever it is you gotta a remove. It does remove waterproof makeup but I did find with stains and strong liquid lipsticks it was a bit of a struggle. This retails for 8.99 euros but currently Boots has an offer that if you buy two Garnier Micellars you on pay 10 euros, basically your getting the second bottle for 1 euro.
As with a micellar waters I do recommend you double cleanse when removing makeup with them and not to use them as your go to everyday cleanser.
